The Escondido Union School District hosted the 3rd annual EdTech2U educational technology conference on Saturday, February 21st.  Over 125 teachers attended and learned about topics such as coding, stop motion, iPads, math and language websites, and much more.  A full list of sessions and descriptions, including presenter resources, can be found
here and on the My Big Campus professional development page.

EdTech2U is organized for EUSD teachers by EUSD teachers, and 2015 sessions highlighted many of the innovative classroom practices around the district.  The conference featured 27 sessions, a delicious brunch sponsored by EEEA and prizes from local sponsors like the San Diego Children’s Museum, Bellamy’s, Starbucks, Swami’s, Jimbo’s, Vinz, and O’Sullivan’s.  Grand prizes were donated by the Escondido Education Foundation and included an iPad Mini and a Sphero (a programmable robot).

With support from EUSD and the community, attendees left full, happy and full of information!  Attendees are saying:

“All I have to say is Wow! Thank you for keeping us ‘up to date’ on the most recent apps for learning and how technology is used as a tool for presentations.  I'm going to implement it as soon as possible.”

“Thanks again for an amazing day or inspiration and fun. I have a whole new dream of what I want my classroom to transform into and I can't wait to get started.”
