The Hour of Code is Here!

Technology is everywhere, but fewer schools teach computer science than 10 years ago.

The Hour of Code event is working to change this.  To date, more than 100 million students have tried an Hour of Code.

With the Hour of Code, computer science has been on homepages of Google, MSN, Yahoo! and Disney. Over 100 partners joined together to support this movement. This year, every Apple Store in the world will host an Hour of Code.

Join in for Computer Science Education Week, and the Hour of Code 2015. Many of your EUSD colleagues were involved with an Hour of Code the past 2 years and plan to do so again next week, December 7-13.

Doing an Hour of Code requires little to no planning, and you don't even need technology access to do it!  Follow the Twitter hashtag #HourofCode to see all the excited educators and students coding!
