The Escondido Union School District hosted the 2nd annual EdTech2U educational technology conference on Saturday, February 1st.  The event was a success!  About 115 teachers attended and learned about topics such as My Big Campus, Technology and the Common Core, iPads, Math websites, and much more.  A full list of sessions and descriptions, including presenter resources, can be found here.

EdTech2U is organized for EUSD teachers by EUSD teachers, and 2014 sessions highlighted many of the innovative classroom practices around the district.  The conference featured 28 sessions, free food and prizes from sponsors like Alex Kajitani, Zynga, Surfscore, Oceanhouse Media, and Bellamy’s.  Other sponsors included The Escondido Education Foundation and The Escondido Elementary Educator’s Association (EEEA).  Click here to view a full list of sponsors.

With support from EUSD and the community, attendees left full, happy and full of information!  One attendee said, "This was, by far, one of the most worthwhile Staff Development workshops that we have had this year.”
