Gmail Trainings will be given at all school sites before the end of the school year. While primarily designed teachers, any site based staff may attend. Other trainings will be offered for various groups at regularly scheduled group meetings (Office Managers, Custodians, Cabinet, Cabinet Secretaries, Librarians, etc.).  Some staff will be able to sign up for open classes at the Carilyn Gilbert Ed Center.  For specific questions about classes, contact Ext 109.

Update...In March 2012, the district adopted Google Apps for the official district email and calendar, replacing Novel Groupwise. The official switchover to Google Email will start on July 1, 2012.

Piloting EUSD Google Apps
We have been piloting using Google Apps in as collaboration tool within the district. To that end the district has set up an EUSD Google Education Account Domain. This functions much like a regular Google account, except that EUSD has a lot more control over pieces of it and the information within the account is more secure. Users also have access to the district contact list to share their creations. Currently about 2000 staff are piloting.
