Google Drive and the Common Core (Docs, Forms, Sheets, Draw) with Jo-Ann Fox

Did you know your EUSD Google account gives you access to many tools such as Docs, Forms, Spreadsheets, and Drawing tools? The best thing about all of these tools is that they are collaborative tools. In this session you will learn how to use these tools to enhance your teaching of Common Core. This is a great follow up session to Organize Your Google Life for CCSS Efficiency.

Prerequisite: Teachers should know how to log into their new laptop and their EUSD Google account.

Who should attend this session? Teachers who are looking to learn more about Google Drive and all the apps that are available within our EUSD Google account.

More Technology in the Common Core with Krystle Miller

This session will cover an introduction to the ELA CCSS K-8 standards, and the Literacy in H/SS, Science, and Technical Subjects.  We’ll be learners and experience a Common Core lesson with technology components integrated, then we’ll explore hands-on what FREE technology resources best fit CCSS standards.  Strategies and resources for all learners, including English Language Learners and Special Education students will be discussed.  You do not need to have attended any prior Technology and Common Core sessions but if you have, this session will build on that experience.   

Prerequisite: Teachers should know how to log into their new laptop and how to log into My Big Campus.

Who should attend this session? Teachers who are looking to integrate technology into the Common Core standards, all levels of expertise with technology and Common Core welcome!

Introduction to Google Sites with Tom Borer

Google Sites is the easiest way to make information available to teachers, students, and parents. You’ll learn how to post links, resources, announcements, and homework. My Big Campus Bundles for Beginners with Todd Mattox

This session will show you the power of bundles for collaboration, creativity, and communication and will cover how to create a bundle, add collaborators, and branch a bundle.  You’ll be able to find and search for useful bundles and will leave having created a bundle of your own.  Bundles for Beginners is designed for teacher uses of bundles for lesson plans, multi-media, and professional development.

Who should attend this session? Teachers who are looking to find and gather multimedia resources to target Common Core standards

Google Hangouts for Common Core Collaboration with Jo-Ann Fox

Are you looking to make global connections with other classrooms? Using Google Hangouts to connect with other classrooms around the world is a great way to get your students practicing the 4 Cs. In this session you will learn how to connect to other classrooms with Google Hangouts and how play games such as Mystery Location Calls, Mystery Career Calls, and other engaging collaborative activities.
